OSHA Training
The Yorkshire Dental Clinic Staff attended an OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) training session October 21, 2005 covering safety and sterility issues for both patients and staff. The training deals with blood-borne pathogens and the steps the Yorkshire Dental Clinic Staff takes to maintain a sterile environment to keep patients and staff safe.
Team Leadership Training
The goal of the training was to foster team leadership skills and assist the attendees in developing an action plan for increasing the practice’s productivity and profitability. The sessions were also aimed at helping graduates of the seminar spot growth blockage points as well assisting them in implementing predictive growth techniques.
2006 Outstanding Design Efficiency
In 2006 Yorkshire Dental received the Outstanding Design Efficiency Award for most effective space planning and use of square footage to meet practice needs and objectives.
The judging of facilities was co-sponsored by the publication “Dental Economics” and Matsco, a specialized financial resource to the health care industry. A panel of industry experts in various areas including design, architecture, ergonomics, equipment and high-tech integration selected the award recipients.
